No’s are heartbreaking
As an entrepreneur you will get tons of them. Here is the best playbook I know to turn No’s into Yes’s.
- Tell your investor how disappointed you are
- Tell them why you think they are wrong.
- Tell them how you will prove them wrong with *insert audacious seemingly impossible measurable goal* in a short time frame.
- Achieve audacious goal.
- Send follow up — saying “I have achieved impossible goal. Can we meet again”.
Traction is catnip to investors and demonstrating execution is the most powerful thing you can do.
